Bookings and rescheduling
Where bookings come from, how to reschedule or cancel them and what the client receives.
A booking is a time, a client, a service and an assignee. Bookings arrive two ways: an employee creates them in the calendar, or the client books on the public page.
Online bookings
An online booking is confirmed automatically and appears in the calendar at once, marked "Source: online booking". An order in the "Confirmed" status is created with it. If the client did not name a car, the booking says "No car specified" — it can be attached later in the order.
The owner and managers can receive an e-mail about every new online booking — the "Emails about online bookings" checkbox in the "Company" section. Masters never get these e-mails, but everyone's calendar updates by itself.
Rescheduling
- Open the booking in the calendar and press "Reschedule".
- Pick a new date and a free slot — the list is built the same way as when creating.
- Save. The client receives an e-mail about the new time (Pro and above).
If the booked service has been deleted, rescheduling is unavailable — create a new booking.
Cancelling
"Cancel booking" frees the slot. The client receives a cancellation e-mail. If the booking came from the public page, the linked order moves to "Cancelled" automatically — see Orders and statuses. Cancelled bookings are hidden in the calendar, but the "Show cancelled" filter reveals them.
