Roles: owner, manager, master

What each role can do in the dashboard and how to change an employee's role.

Pitly has three roles. The role is set in the employee card and applies within one company.

Owner

Full access: company settings and branches, employees and their roles, plan and payment, invoice details, erasure of clients' personal data. There can be several owners; the last owner cannot be deleted, deactivated or demoted.

Manager

Everything needed for working with clients: the whole company's calendar, bookings (create, reschedule, cancel), clients and cars, orders and their statuses, documents, reviews, chat with clients. Does not change company settings, branches, employees or the plan — those sections open read-only.

Master

Sees only their own bookings and orders (where they are the assignee), and the clients and cars of their jobs. In an order they change the status, add photos, comments and recommendations, keep the car history. They do not create or manage bookings and do not issue documents to the client.

Changing a role

Open the employee card ("Employees" → name → "Edit"), pick the new role, save. The change applies from the employee's next sign-in.
